A WhatsApp shared inbox for your team

A shared inbox lets your whole team answer customers on one WhatsApp number, without passing a phone around.

What can your team do in the shared inbox?

  • Every incoming message from your linked numbers in one inbox.
  • Assign a conversation to a teammate, reply, and mark it resolved when it is done.
  • Incoming messages can also start automations, or reach your own systems through signed webhooks.

Can the shared inbox use automation and AI?

Build a workflow on a visual canvas: send a numbered menu, ask questions, branch on the answer and hand the chat to a person when needed.

The AI reply step answers only from your own knowledge base. When it cannot answer, or the customer asks for a person, it hands the chat to your team instead of guessing.

How many numbers and how fast can you send?

Each linked number is a session. Free and Starter include one, Scale up to five, and Business is unlimited, all managed from one console and one API. Messages are paced per number to protect it: 6 per minute on Free, 15 on Starter, 30 on Scale and 60 on Business. Anything beyond that waits in the queue and goes out in order.

What happens when a number disconnects?

You get a notification, and the session shows why, for example that it was logged out from the phone. A link that dropped comes back by itself. A logged-out number needs a new QR scan.

Which plans include the shared inbox?

The shared inbox is included from the Starter plan. The number of team seats, sessions and AI replies depends on the plan, so check the pricing page for the current numbers.

Good to know

  • Incoming messages count toward your monthly message allowance.
  • Menus are numbered text, because WhatsApp buttons need the official API.
  • Beecasts is independent and not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.
